All the raw materials used in manufacturing are procured from carefully selected vendors and subjected to rigorous incoming inspection and quality checks before being used. We have adequate facility to ensure testing of raw materials like core, copper, transformer oil etc.
Further, various tests are conducted as per the quality plan during the manufacturing process. We have a dedicated team of engineers to conduct quality checks at various critical points of manufacturing.
Accuracy of CT is checked at various stages. Just during tanking, more than 15 quality checks are done to ensure that the product is capable of withstanding the severe electrical & mechanical stresses while maintaining accuracy. Paper insulation is dried in specially designed ovens under controlled vacuum and temperature. After tanking, the tanks are hermetically sealed and filtered & degassed filtered oil is filled under vacuum to prevent ingress of moisture.
Finally, each and every unit undergoes all the routine tests as per relevant IS/IEC standard and as per customer's requirements. We have a fully equipped NABL/ILAC approved testing laboratory with a team of experienced engineers to perform required tests.
